Led by the Lord and with a desire to educate their children at home, Tim & Jen Hawkins started Freedom Christian Academy in the Spring of 2013. After researching the two different homeschooling options in Maine, Tim & Jen felt that they not only preferred the simplicity of option #2 but felt they could offer that same simplicity and freedom to other families.

FCA exists to encourage, equip and walk side by side with Maine families as they travel along their homeschooling journey's. FCA desires to provide the tools and support to those who seek the freedom to teach their children at home.
